2025 Competitions
Berrien Springs District Competition: Ramageddon finished qualification matches in 8th place, we were picked up by the 5th alliance captain, we made it to round 3 of the playoffs (losing in a nailbiter by one point). The big news for us at this event was that we won the prestigious Impact Award which qualified us for the FIRST in Michigan State Championship!
East Kentwood District Competition: Ramageddon had a strong showing at the Kentwood District Competition, finishing 16th in qualification matches and being the 1st pick of the 7th alliance. We were thrilled to win the Team Spirit Award during this event!
Michigan State Championship (MSC): We were thrilled to return to the MSC to compete with our robot for the first time since 2019! We had a strong first day but unfortunately after that, we experience mechanical issues that caused us not to get picked up for an alliance. Regardless, it was an amazing experience for our students, mentors, and fans. Ramageddon did not walk away empty handed though...our amazing Build Team Coach, Zach VanHuis was one of three mentors to win the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award! Congrats Coach Zach and thank you for all that you do for our team!!
